Where do I find the invoice file?

Your invoice was rejected
Open the rejected invoice in the software you sent it from and download its e-invoice file. It is usually called UBL, XML or e-invoice, often under the ⋯ or Export menu. Drop that file here. Then fix the invoice in your software, not in the file, and send it again.
You received an e-invoice
In your accounting software's inbox, or in the email it came with, download the attachment whose name ends in .xml and drop it here.
You only have a PDF
If the invoice only ever came as a PDF by email, for example a subscription from a company abroad, it was most likely not sent over Peppol, and the Peppol rules do not apply to it. If it is a Peppol invoice between Belgian businesses, the XML file exists: ask your invoicing software, your supplier or your accountant for the UBL (XML) version.
